Whether you place an order or create a profile, we use industry-standard secure server software (SSL) that encrypts all information you input before it is sent to the server. In addition, all of the customer data collected is protected against unauthorized access. Credit card information obtained from product sales is not stored after the transaction has been approved by our credit card processor.
No data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. All websites are potentially vulnerable to hackers, viruses, malware, and other means of infiltration. While we take steps to protect your PII and NPII, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and all transmissions you make are at your own risk. Upon receiving your transmission, we make reasonable efforts to ensure its security on our systems. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your username, passwords, and account information.
To check the security of your connection, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), then SSL is active. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from “HTTP” to “https.” Some versions of browsers and some firewalls do not permit communication through secure servers like the ones we use to process orders. In that case, you'll be unable to connect to the server, which means you won't be able to mistakenly place an order through an unsecured connection. If you cannot access the secure server for any reason, please print our order form and place your order by phone or by fax.
